How long does the surrogacy process take?

Most journeys take 12 to 18 months from consultation to birth, depending on medical timelines, surrogate availability and legal preparation.

How are surrogates screened?

Is the surrogate biologically related to the baby?

We work exclusively with gestational surrogacy, which means the surrogate is not biologically related to the baby. The embryo is created using the intended parent’s (or donor’s) egg and sperm and transferred to the surrogate through IVF. This is the most common and legally protected form of surrogacy in the U.S.
